And in a double-celebration, we are also extremely proud that Karl Hartey and Tristan Hartey have both achieved ISO 22222 certification, an internationally recognised standard for personal financial planners.

What is BS 8577?
BS 8577 is a British Standard specifically designed for financial advice and planning companies, providing a framework for good business practice. Many diverse areas are covered, including the way a company is managed, its processes and procedures, how client relationships are managed and the commitment to continual improvement. Achieving certification involves an independent assessment of the company over several days, against the requirements of the standard.
For us, BS 8577 certification is particularly important as it recognises the standards that sit behind the advice and service our clients receive. Good financial planning is not simply about the recommendations made during a meeting – it also relies on robust processes, effective management and a company that is continually looking for ways to improve.
Individual Recognition for Karl and Tristan
ISO 22222 is an international standard for personal financial planning and recognises areas such as professional competence, knowledge, experience, ethical behaviour and the personal financial planning process. For Karl and Tristan, achieving the certification provides independent recognition of the professional standards they have worked hard to maintain throughout their careers.

Achieving these certifications is very much a team achievement.
