DIRECTOR & SENIOR TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

I have a vital role to play when it comes to managing our clients’ portfolios. I dedicate a large amount of time researching asset allocation, portfolio diversification, correlation and investment strategies to match our client’s objectives and attitude to investment risk. 

I have been working in the financial industry since 1999 and I have developed the risk management tools and portfolio design for managing your investments.  

As the company is very active in managing our client portfolios it gives me a sense of achievement to see how well our client portfolios are performing. 

I have been an IMD (Investment Management Diploma) holder through CFA UK since 2022, after obtaining the IMC in 2021 and the CFA Institutes Certificate in ESG Investing in 2022. I also hold the Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA) through the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF) since 2013, as well as obtaining the level 6 Managing Investment qualification also through the LIBF in 2017.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

As Operations Manager, I oversee the daily operations of the company which includes providing accounting and administration services and developing systems and processes ensuring they are efficient, lean and precise whether relating to systems, compliance or service.

As a stickler for detail, I ensure all the financial reporting is correct for Tristan to meet with the Hartey Wealth Management Board and FCA regulatory requirements. I also work within the Client Services Team, which is very important to me, as it keeps me involved with our clients and in the practical application of the processes and systems that have been put in place.

CLIENT MANAGER

I have worked within financial services for the last 15 years, although mainly from the fund provider side of the table. I joined the Client Service Team in May 2018 and have found my previous experience in the industry really beneficial as I know how lots of the platforms and fund providers work.

I enjoy being challenged and busy, following through with any client requests, applications or enquiries I receive – I like to be as involved with our clients as I can be. My aim is to provide the best level of customer service to our clients that I can.

My role within the client services team here at Hartey Wealth Management involves a variety of tasks, including dealing with enquiries from new and existing clients and making sure that processes and procedures are being followed to enable us to provide a high standard of service.

I have 10 years of experience in administration, marketing and events, providing me with the organisational skills and attention-to-detail needed to perform my role to the highest level.

Ten years of experience in finance – three years as a financial journalist, followed by seven in wealth management – have given me a view of how the industry works from both the client and servicing perspectives.

Working with the paraplanning and portfolio management teams, I am responsible for constructing and processing solutions for new clients while maintaining the high standard of ongoing service Hartey Wealth Management provides for existing relationships.

As a member of the Research Team, I am responsible for the portfolio reviews where I utilize my 7 plus years of experience in administration. My attention to detail is key for this role and a skill I have nurtured over the years.

I am eager to continue my experience and increase my knowledge within my role.

Prior to working at Hartey Wealth Management, I worked within a large financial corporation dealing with multiple aspects of the sector, which began my interest in working within a smaller more personable financial business.

Chester Office & Events Manager

In my role as Chester Office & Events Manager, I manage the day-to-day running of the Chester office, as well as looking after the marketing and events for Hartey Wealth Management.

With extensive experience in office management and marketing, I work hard with the team to make sure our clients receive an excellent service.

Previously, I worked for an ecommerce agency in a variety of roles covering operations, HR and marketing – experience which is very useful in my role at Hartey Wealth Management.

DIARY MANAGER AND EVENTS ADMINISTRATOR

I am based at our Oswestry office and am the first point of contact for clients arriving here. My role as diary manager involves arranging client meetings with our advisers and I also deal with requests and queries.

As Events Administrator, I help to organise the investment presentations that we run throughout the year, from the initial planning through to organisation on the day.

Prior to working at Hartey Wealth Management, I ran my own health and nutrition business after leaving the Royal Air Force Nursing Service.

Client Administrator

As Client Administrator within the Client Services team, my role involves greeting clients at our Chester Office, taking Proof of Identity from our new clients, dealing with Letters of Authority and preparing reviews for our clients.

I have over 20 years administrative experience and I will always give 100% to any task that I am given.

After taking a small gap in my career to set up and run my own cake decorating business, which allowed me to raise my 2 children, I am pleased to be part of the Hartey Wealth Management team, providing all our clients with an excellent administrative service.

Research Analyst BA (Hons), MSc, DIPFA, IMC

I currently work as research analyst in the 24/7 Investment Management team. In 2020, I achieved the Diploma for Financial Advisors (DipFA) and the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) in 2021.
The last few years prior to working at Hartey Wealth Management have been varied for me, comprising of travelling and working overseas, completing a master’s degree, and working within the investment banking industry. I am now looking forward to developing and progressing in my career in the financial planning and investment sector, accompanied by the help of our skilled, experienced, and professional team.
