I have a vital role to play when it comes to managing our clients’ portfolios. I dedicate a large amount of time researching asset allocation, portfolio diversification, correlation and investment strategies to match our client’s objectives and attitude to investment risk. 

I have been working in the financial industry since 1999 and I have developed the risk management tools and portfolio design for managing your investments.  

As the company is very active in managing our client portfolios it gives me a sense of achievement to see how well our client portfolios are performing. 

I have obtained the Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA) and the Chartered qualification in relation to Managing Investments (MANI) both by The London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF) and I am currently in the process of obtaining the IMC qualification by the CFA institute, which is industry wide accreditation for portfolio management.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

As Operations Manager, I oversee the daily operations of the company which includes providing accounting and administration services and developing systems and processes ensuring they are efficient, lean and precise whether relating to systems, compliance or service.

As a stickler for detail, I ensure all the financial reporting is correct for Tristan to meet with the Hartey Wealth Management Board and FCA regulatory requirements. I also work within the Client Services Team, which is very important to me, as it keeps me involved with our clients and in the practical application of the processes and systems that have been put in place.

CLIENT MANAGER

I have worked within financial services for the last 15 years, although mainly from the fund provider side of the table. I joined the Client Service Team in May 2018 and have found my previous experience in the industry really beneficial as I know how lots of the platforms and fund providers work.

I enjoy being challenged and busy, following through with any client requests, applications or enquiries I receive – I like to be as involved with our clients as I can be. My aim is to provide the best level of customer service to our clients that I can.

CLIENT MANAGER

I recently joined the Client Service Team as Client Manager for both the Chester and Oswestry office. My role involves supporting our clients with the financial planning process from inception through to completion, ensuring all client details are up to date for the Financial Planners.

I have worked in a similar role at a retail bank over the past three years after graduating and now I am excited to learn more about the financial planning sector from such an experienced team to better serve our clients.

I joined the business as a Portfolio Reviewer in 2018, which required a keen eye for detail, whilst fulfilling this position I gained my Certificate in Paraplanning and Financial Administration (CertPFA) in 2019. I have since obtained my Diploma for Financial Advisors (DipFA) and I am now working as a paraplanner which involves a lot of variety whilst finding solutions for clients.

I am looking forward to the next step within my career with hopes to begin my Level 6 Diploma in Financial Advice (Adv DipFA) in the coming year and to continue working within the research team to keep broadening my knowledge.

Having initially embarked on financial journalism career in the Square Mile, I soon realised that his interests lay on the other side of the fence and switched to financial planning in 2017.  After three years as a paraplanner in North London,  it was time to move back to the North of England and I joined Hartey Wealth Management as Senior Paraplanner in February 2020.

Working with the paraplanning and portfolio management teams, I am responsible for constructing and processing solutions for new clients, while maintaining the high standard of ongoing service Hartey Wealth Management provides for existing relationships, and upon completion of the Diploma in Financial Advice I intend to go for Chartered status.

TRAINEE PARAPLANNER

I currently work as a Portfolio Reviewer and Trainee Paraplanner within the Research Team, dealing with the administration of portfolio reviews and snapshots to our clients. This comprehensive process requires a strong attention to detail and accurate information handling, all within a timely manner. In 2020 I achieved the Diploma for Financial Advisors (DipFA) and at present I am currently working towards obtaining the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) in 2021.

The last few years prior to working at Hartey Wealth Management have been varied for me comprising of travelling and working overseas, completing a master’s degree, and working within the investment banking industry. I am now looking forward to developing and progressing with my career in the financial planning sector accompanied by the help of our skilled, experienced, and professional team.

As Karl and Tristan’s PA, I am the first point of contact for both new and existing clients.  I co-ordinate their diaries and organise meetings and seminars. 

I have previously worked for a then leading market research company specialising in customer service evaluation for blue chip clients.  That role became the driving force in enabling me to fully understand and appreciate the importance of putting the customer at the heart of every part of the business development journey, and always providing the highest possible standards of customer service.

CLIENT RELATIONS & SEMINAR ADMINISTRATOR

I am based at our Oswestry Office and I am the first point of contact for the clients here. My role in Client Relations involves arranging client meetings as well as dealing with client requests and queries.

I also assist with the running and administration of our seminars. Previous to working at Hartey Wealth Management I worked as a Service Controller at Hiab.
