Avro Business Park is set to welcome 11 new industrial and warehouse units, after Cheshire East Council approved proposals by commercial property developer Chancerygate.
The business park, located on London Road in Adlington, is an industrial and logistics development that enjoys excellent connectivity to Manchester Airport and the M56 J5, both only minutes away.
The plan was first announced in 2022 after the site was acquired from Quorum Property Group.
The units will range in size from 7,000 to 29,000 sq ft, across a space of 170,000 sq ft. The 7.8 acre site will adjoin the new £26 million Poynton Relief Road, as well as the Adlington Business Park and Adlington Industrial Estate. Once at full capacity, it is expected to generate an extra 250 local jobs.
The site demonstrates its green credentials by using the latest eco-friendly technology to reduce costs. In order to secure an A+ EPC rating and a BREEAM Excellent rating, new buildings will be installed with solar photovoltaic panels, whilst occupiers will enjoy access to EV charging facilities. Building materials will also be selected to reduce the project’s carbon footprint.
Cheshire East Council’s planning team approved the scheme, citing the excellent location of the industrial estate, its commitment to sustainability and the potential for local job creation. Following planning approval from their Strategic Planning Board, construction is expected to commence in October, with a view to completion by 2025. Both new and experienced business owners often look to a financial consultant in Cheshire to help guide them.
