Karl has worked in financial services for over 30 years and was inducted into the prestigious Financial Services Hall of Fame in 2025, recognising his lifetime contribution to the profession. Since co-founding Hartey Wealth Management in 2014, he has led the business with passion and innovation, driving the firm to multiple industry awards and establishing a reputation for clarity, trust, and results.
A sought-after speaker, Karl has delivered keynote talks at the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and numerous international conferences, inspiring financial professionals around the globe. He is also the author of multiple educational books designed to simplify the complex world of finance for everyday investors and business owners alike.
Outside Of Work
Karl is an adventurer at heart. A keen mountain biker and veteran of over ten international car rallies, he also cherishes time spent exploring the Cornish coast with his two dogs, Mollie and Tobie. Their playful antics have inspired a best-selling children’s book series, written by Karl, capturing the joy of curiosity, adventure, and family. He is also proud to support The Charlotte Hartey Foundation, a charity dedicated to helping children thrive.
