The Charlotte Hartey Foundation
The Charlotte Hartey Foundation was set up by Charlotte’s family in her memory, after she died tragically in 2009 at the age of just 16, due to complications arising from being mis-diagnosed by a local doctor of swine flu, by telephone.
The Charlotte Hartey Foundation is supported wholly by generous public donations and fundraising activities.
Why we select this charity
The Foundation provides financial resources in the form of gifts to youth clubs, schools and organisations and helps to fund structured, purposeful projects and ventures, giving youths the opportunity of reaching their full potential.
